Hello everyone, I had my doctors appointment today. everything went great! The heart rate was excellent and i measured right on target. I have gained 14 lbs so far which was like a punch in the gut to hear, but i guess that’s just all part of it! I have my 26 week check up scheduled in four weeks, but after the 27th week i will be in my third trimester so i have to start going every two weeks after this next appointment! Anyway, Ryan and i are happy that we got a good report and that everything seems to be going great! We’ll keep you updated and let you know how our hospital tour goes this weekend!

We got some really good 4D pictures that we will post as soon as we get access to a scanner. It was too soon to tell if it is a boy or girl but we go back in four weeks for a second ultrasound where we will find out the gender of the baby. They initially thought i might be further along than what they originally told me, which is why we scheduled the ultrasound, but they put me at exactly 13 weeks with a due date one day earlier than what they had first told me. They said the size of my belly seemed normal, that i was showing a little bit more than usual bc my uterus is tilted so forward its pushing everything out. other than that, not really any news. They said the baby looked healthy, he had a good heart rate (162bpm) and was a good size! So, we are looking forward to our next appointment in 4 weeks and are excited to share with you our pictures from today.
but we still will get to see our precious bundle of joy which is enough for me!!!! But, in about 5 weeks we will get to do a second ultra sound in which we will find out if its a boy or girl. So we have two exciting appointments coming up and we cant wait to share there outcome with you. I am sure they will give us a picture of the baby during the ultrasound next week so i will be sure to post it for you all to see!
